Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 16, 2026

Your privacy is of critical importance to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how My Patient Diary handles data when you use the mobile application.

1. Local Storage Policy (Zero Server-Side Transmission)

My Patient Diary is designed to run entirely locally on your device using SwiftData local database encryption and storage layers. We do not operate databases, user accounts, or backends that store, sync, or transmit your patient logs, profiles, or health data.

2. Data Collected on Your Device

All data entered into the application remains under your exclusive control and is stored directly on your iOS device's local memory. This includes:

3. Third-Party Integrations

To maximize security, we have removed all Firebase integrations, tracking cookies, analytics SDKs, and telemetry packages. The application does not track your coordinates, behavior, or usage history.

4. Share & Export Actions

When you use the Email Export or Share features, the app packages your selected caregiver logs into a plain-text format and opens the native iOS Mail compose sheet (or share sheet). This transmission is handled securely by iOS, and the target address is selected solely by you.

5. Complete Data Erasure (Cascade Delete)

You can delete patient profiles and logs at any time. Selecting "Delete" immediately deletes the patient profile and triggers a cascade deletion of all historical log entries from your local device's database context, leaving no residual records.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page online.
